Mr. Lucas is a very pleasant and intelligent man ---and he can cook some fantastic grits! It is made of rose gold. There is a beautiful pink tone to the gold. Rose gold is reminiscent of a time gone by and women of all ages love it. Because it was popular in Russia at the beginning of the nineteenth century it is also known as Russian gold. Rose gold is an alloy; pure gold is yellow and pure copper is reddish. The difference between red, rose, and pink gold is the copper content: The higher the copper content, the stronger the red coloration. Many people use the terms interchangeably.
